You’ll be greeted by our reception team, fill in a short medical form, and if you’re nervous you can tell us – we won’t put a gold star on your file, but we’ll treat you like a VIP.

2. Chat first, then check

Your dentist will ask what brought you in, what’s worrying you and what you’d like from your smile – from “just healthy” to “Invisalign, whitening and the works.”Then we do a thorough but gentle check of teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues, and any X‑rays needed.

3. Plain‑English results

We’ll explain what we see in three simple buckets:

• All good.

• Keep an eye on this.

• Let’s fix this soon.

If you want to see what we see, we can show you photos or X‑rays. If you don’t, we won’t traumatise you with close‑ups.

4. Your simple plan

You’ll leave with a clear plan that might include:

• Routine check‑ups and hygiene visits.

• Any needed treatment.

• Optional cosmetic upgrades like whitening, Invisalign, SmileFast or implants.

  
  

We’ll explain what can be done under the NHS (where appropriate), what’s private, and how our practice plan can help spread the cost. You’re always in control.
