A healthy mouth is always the starting point for any cosmetic dental treatment. Once decay, gum problems and other oral-health concerns have been assessed, some patients choose to explore private options to change the colour, alignment or shape of their teeth.

At Elite Dental Studio, we help patients from Tilbury, Grays and across Thurrock understand the available options without pressure. Cosmetic treatment is optional, and suitability depends on your oral health, expectations and individual circumstances.

NHS and Private Dental Care

NHS dentistry provides clinically necessary care to help maintain the health of your teeth, gums and mouth. Cosmetic treatment that is not clinically required is usually provided privately.

Choosing private cosmetic treatment does not mean that NHS care is inadequate. It simply provides access to additional elective options that may not be available through the NHS.

Professional Teeth Whitening

Professional whitening may help reduce staining and lighten the natural colour of suitable teeth. Treatment is supervised by a dentist and usually involves custom-made trays and whitening gel used at home.

Whitening does not change the colour of fillings, crowns or veneers, and temporary sensitivity can occur. Your dentist will assess your teeth and gums before recommending treatment.

Invisalign Clear Aligners

Invisalign uses a series of removable clear aligners to move teeth gradually. It may be suitable for concerns including crowding, spacing and some bite problems.

A clinical assessment and digital scan are required to determine suitability. Treatment length and results vary, and retainers are normally required afterwards to help maintain the new tooth positions.

Composite Bonding

Composite bonding uses tooth-coloured resin to repair selected chips, close small gaps or improve the shape and symmetry of teeth. It can often be completed with minimal alteration to the natural tooth.

Composite resin can stain, chip or wear over time and may require polishing, repair or replacement. Your dentist will explain the likely maintenance and alternative options before treatment.

Choosing the Right Treatment

The most suitable option depends on what you would like to change, the condition of your teeth and gums, your bite and your budget. Sometimes no treatment is the best choice; in other cases, a combination of treatments may be appropriate.

During a consultation, we will:

• Discuss your concerns and desired outcome

• Examine your teeth, gums and bite• Explain suitable options and alternatives

• Discuss limitations, risks and maintenance

• Provide a written estimate before treatment begins

Arrange a Cosmetic Consultation

Honestly, I’ve been looking into professional teeth whitening services in Sharjah for a while now, and this really helped me understand what to expect. There are so many options out there, but it’s good to see clear and simple information like this before making a decision.
